I RECIEVED THIS SUIT TODAY FROM A LITTLE OLD KOUPLE THAT I HAVE BEEN GREAT FRIENDS WITH FOR 3YEARS.THEY ALWAYS HAVE DIFFERENT KLOTHING ITEMS TO GIVE ME WHEN I SEE THEM. THE FIRST THING I NOTICE ABOUT THE SUIT WAS THE CLOTH AND I HAD TO KNOW THE SIGNIFICANCE OF IT AND THE TIME IT KAME FROM. IT WAS HER HUSBAND'S AND WAS ONE OF HIS FAVORITE SUITS THAT HE PURCHASE ON VACATION IN HAVANA. SHE STATED,"DURING THIS TIME THE TWEED/LINEN BLEND WAS VERY POPULAR, IT WAS LIKE YOU GOT THE BEST OF BOTH WORLDS WITH THE CLOTH, IT WAS LIGHT AND BREATHABLE ENOUGH TO WEAR DURING A HOT SUMMER DAY, AND ALSO COMFORTABLE ENOUGH TO WEAR ON THOSE BREEZY NIGHTS ON THE BEACH." HE REALLY CHERISH THIS SUIT, AND I KNOW THAT HE WOULD BE GLAD THAT I GAVE IT TO SOMEONE THAT WILL TRULY APPRECIATE IT.SO BEFORE WEAR ALOT OF WORK WILL BE DONE TO IT.FROM THOSE UBER WIDE LAPELS TO THOSE WTH! BELLBOTTOM PANTS, AND TAPERING OF THE SIDES, BUT WHEN IM DONE, IT WILL PROBABLY BEKOME ONE OF MY FAVS.THAT'S WHAT I LOVE SO MUCH ABOUT VINTAGE WEAR, ITS SO EASY TO BRING IT BACK TO LIFE AND ENJOY AS MUCH AS THE PREVIOUS OWNER......

I LIKE TO REFER TO THE ITALIANS FOR IDEAS ON HOW TO WEAR A DB BECAUSE, THEY WEAR THEM LIKE A SEKOND SKIN AND WITH AN ATTITUDE OF "I WISH YOU WOULD KORRECT MY SWAG".BUT IF U LIKE TO KEEP IT SIMPLE, U KANT GO WRONG WITH A NAVY DB FROM RALPH LAUREN.MOST DB'S ARE DESIGNED 6ON2( 6 BUTTONS EXTERNAL AND 2 INTERNAL) WITH SIDE,SINGLE,OR NO VENTS OR 4ON2(4BUTTONS EXTERNAL AND 2 INTERNAL)SINGLE OR NO VENTS.I LIKE TO WEAR MINES 6ON2 WITH SIDE VENTS.I HAVE TO HAVE A VENT BECAUSE GOD BLESS ME IN THE REAR AREA, SO IT MAKES IT A LITLE KOMFORTABLE FOR ME BUT,TO EACH ITS ON.SO NEXT TIME THAT YOU ARE THINK ABOUT JAZZY UP YOUR KLOSET PURCHASE A DB, HAVE IT TAILOR(ALWAYS) AND WATCH THE LOOKS OF EXCELLENCE THAT U GET FOR OTHERS.

A MAN OF HIS OWN.....:THE PAISLEY PRINT BLAZER

Paisley print is an easily recognized pattern that resembles a crooked tear drop or half of a yin-yang. A very popular print on all sorts of clothing and fashion accessories during the 1960s, paisley print is commonly found today on men’s ties and handkerchiefs. Though paisley print became popular when it appeared in the shops of London's Carnaby Street during the mod fashion frenzy, its origin can be traced back to India.Though the recognizable paisley print pattern was originally crafted by Indian artisans, it was brought to Scotland in the early 19th century, where it received its name. Paisley print was named after the Scottish town of Paisley, where printed cotton and wool fabrics were heavily manufactured. I fell in love with this jacket the first time i layed eyes on it. It has a golden yellow based and print and some type of funky light blue (which probably komes from the age) trimming the paisley print. I truly wish that more things were made like this, because i feel that as young men today we are so quick to accept trends and whats hot now.Klearly, the Gent that was adorn in this lovely kashmere blazer, didnt kare about what people thought about him and his style. Unfortunely, its just to small for my wide football player shoulders, so i'm going to do some work on it and give it to a good friend of mines,  who i know would take kare and appreciated it like i would.
