WHEN I FIRST PURCHASE THIS BEAUTY, I WAS THINK TO MYSELF,"WHERE THE HECK ARE THE REST OF THE BUTTONS?" WITH A HIGHER ARM HOLE AND HIGHER CUT SIMILAR TO A 6 ON 2 DOUBLE BREASTED, THIS IS DEFINITELY NOT YOUR AVERAGE 4 ON 1.MOST OF THE TIME WHEN THINKING ABOUT THE 6 ON 1 OR 4 ON 1,IT BRINGS TO MIND THOSE HORRENDOUS ARMANI,BROOKS BROTHERS,AND VERSACE SUITS OF THE 80'S, BUT IT SEEMS THAT THEY SHOULD HAVE TAKEN NOTE OF THE SPAINARD'S OF THE 1960s ......NOT TO METION THE GRADE A CONSTRUCTION,PATCH POCKETS,AND THE HAND STINCHING ON THE CUFFS,THIS IS NOT THE FIRST TIME THAT TAILORING OF SPAIN HAS CONQUEOR ANYTHING I'VE EVER WORN AMERICAN........

WELL....ITS A NEW YEAR,AND I AM TWICE THE MAN I WAS IN 2010,THE BLOG IS DOING EXCEPTIONALLY WELL,MY TAILORING SKILLS ARE GET THEIR WITH TIME,AND THIS IS GOING TO BE A BUSY YEAR FOR ME.I ALSO HAD A CHANCE TO STYLE ONE OF BIRMINGHAM'S TOP MALE VOCALIST,SO IN OTHER WORDS THE LORD IS HAVE HIS WAY IN MY LIFE....SO GET INTO IT!

MAN OF THE HOUR GOES TO: DARHEL A. MAYS II OF MARSHALL& ANTHONY

Marshall Anthony was started in January 2009. It was spawn from pure necessity. With a vast collection of neckties, Darhel decided to venture into bow ties were the selection was lacking variety.So, he dusted off an old sewing machine his mother had stowed away for over a decade and thats when the magic was found. He began a process of crafting bowties out of some of his older neckties until he perfected the craft and added a few bows to the collection. Now, Darhel hand crafts all mens neckwear and accessories and has a MTM shirting line set to debut Spring 2011.

Darhel has divide his brand into two distinct label collections,Premium Collection & Diamond Collection. Premium Collection sets the Marshall Anthony standard, with handmade pieces of refined classical style. The Diamond Collection boasts a more aggressive but inherently elegant style with the pairing of complimenting fabrics on reversible bow ties, finer fabrics like cashmere, and deluxe designs like the seven fold necktie. Darhel explains,that his vision for Marshall Anthony is full menswear lifestyle brand. A haven for meticulously styled gentleman and those seeking to find their own personal style."

What I love most about Mr. Mays story,is that he found a passion for something that he love and went after it. Not worrying about what others may think about it, the mindset that he has gained, is that if i love it they will adore it. Being a man of this nature,like Darhel, i too started on a old dusty sewing machine that my mom had stowed away,and who would have thought that it would have brought Darhel this far.
